Taking Back the River

I took back the river this weekend. Joining me in this crusade were Gracie and Chloe. It smelled just as I remembered, straight out of a page from my younger days. Let's cut 5th period tomorrow and head down, shall we?

HA 20 K to Sac

Today I'm waiting in Honolulu. As a wait I'm struck by the strange serenity of this airport. My gate is 34 today. Back to the mainland and back to reality. I'm wishing I had a bike to ride around this airport, pedaling at a gentle speed while the minutes pass me by. I would also like to note that John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane," is stuck on repeat in my head.
