Taking Back the River

I took back the river this weekend. Joining me in this crusade were Gracie and Chloe. It smelled just as I remembered, straight out of a page from my younger days. Let's cut 5th period tomorrow and head down, shall we?

HA 20 K to Sac

Today I'm waiting in Honolulu. As a wait I'm struck by the strange serenity of this airport. My gate is 34 today. Back to the mainland and back to reality. I'm wishing I had a bike to ride around this airport, pedaling at a gentle speed while the minutes pass me by. I would also like to note that John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane," is stuck on repeat in my head.

On a Vacation

How does one take vacation photos? I'm sort of obsessed with this question at the moment. Sunrise, sunset and repeat? Anyhow, here are a few random shots taken while roaming round the timeshare grounds.

Well. I attempted to come back atchayall earlier and I deleted my post! Silly Som. Here goes again... I call it "Fruitspiration," photos I took from a fruit trade mag. I found the images wildly entertaining. Kiwi balls, what else can I say?
