So I Get

lazy sometimes! Can you blame a gal? This whole blog-o-sphere kills me. Sometimes I feel it. Other times... not so much. I think anyone who reads this blog (all two of you) know I can be a finicky gal. You also know I like hot sauce. This morning I had some fantastic sauce courtesy of this little Greek joint at One Market. Started off my day just right. I think I could do it all over again. And again. Sorry for the blase post but, it was the least I could do. Until we meet again.

Office Life

For those of you who don't know I now work in that whole corporate environment thing... Company e-mails really kill me. They do.

see below:

Hello all,
You may notice that, in an effort to be more health-conscience, we have reduced the amount of soda in the refrigerator and added vitamin and sparkling water.
Please treat these new drinks no differently than the sodas- that is, PLEASE do not hoard or take more than your fair share. These are meant to be enjoyed in moderation during work, not taken home or cached at your desk. If you take more than your fair share, why, that only deprives your friends at work.
This is somewhat of an experiment; if we notice that people are hoarding or taking exhorbitant amounts of the new drinks, we will have no choice but to revert back to "soda only"
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Best,
Matt

ok... it's from a starbucks cup

You know those quotes on the side of a Starbucks cup? Well, sometimes I read them. Sometimes aloud in a sermonesqe type demeanor if an audience hails. This morning my coffee sleeve slipped off revealing the following:
"You simply can't make someone love you if they don't. You must choose someone who already loves you. If you choose someone who does not love you, this is the sort of love you must want." --Israel Horovitz, from his play, The Secret Mme. Bonnard's Bath.

So true in a beautifully sad manner.
